Exactly where you might ask is the First Coast? Well, it's the first part of Florida you hit when you're coming south on I-95.

We are fortunate to be located in an area that has so much to offer. OK, we admit the roads are straight, but we ride year round, and have tons of interesting places to visit. 

St. Augustine is called The Ancient City, having been settled (some say invaded) by the Spanish in the 16th century. Fort Matanzas still stands, a National Historical Monument.

 Jacksonville is a busy commercial city, with a big Navy presence, and a winning NFL franchise - the Jaguars. It is a city defined by the St. Johns, one of America's great rivers.

A little further up river (that's south, by the way) is quiet little Green Cove Springs. Once upon a time, this was the site of a mineral waters spa reputed to have magical curative powers. Much later, it was a WWII submarine base. And speaking of WWII and submarines, Ponte Vedra Beach, today a very posh beach and golf community, was once invaded by German saboteurs who came ashore from a U boat.

Just an hour's ride will take you to wonderful beaches, island resorts, state parks, and national forests (GS roads!). We are also perfectly situated for Bike Week, close, but not too close, if you know what I mean. And best of all we have the year round weather to enjoy it all, to prove it, here's what it's like right now:
