Seminars:

Amsoil Synthetics and Your Final Drive  Brad Mobley will share his extensive research of synthetic oils with us.

Women’s Forum on Motorcycling Whether you are a rider or a 2-upper, join us in a panel discussion by and for Women riders.  We will be talking everything from skills to bikes to apparel to trips – all from a woman’s perspective.

High Performance Rider Education - Susan GalpinIf you haven’t heard Susan share her many years of riding experience, you have missed a great time.  She always challenges us all to review our riding and usually finds a way to give everyone great information to take away in their riding whether a new or seasoned rider.

Overseas Motorcycle Touring with Bill Robinson - Bill and his wife Valerie have toured about 30 countries by motorcycle, and he offers a concise look at the options available to anyone who wishes to embark on an overseas bike tour. He covers the various ways to tour, discusses some of the leading tour operators, shows some sights you will see and talks about the preparation needed. If you have thought about an overseas tour, but haven't really known how to get started, this seminar is perfect for you.

If you have an idea for a topic or speaker, Norm can be reached through winterrally@bmwnef.org.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

There ARE no gate registration – no exceptions.

Since you asked – Why did the dates change from January to February?

We apologize for the change in dates.  Camp Blanding has scheduled operational commitments in January that precluded our event.  They are still very supportive of our event but, in order to not interfere with their operations, and to provide a quality environment for our Rally, we all agreed to shift the event to February.
We chose President's day weekend to preserve the holiday aspect of MLK weekend to help folks be able to have an additional day to attend and coincidently, Valentines day also gives an extra dimension to this years rally.  We hope folks would bring their special friend and join our event.

We hope that Camp Blanding's schedule will accommodate a return to MLK weekend in the future but we have to plan each year as it comes.

ALTERNATE ACCOMMODATIONS – For those of you who are not up to the challenge of primitive camping, the area around Camp Blanding offers a number of alternatives.  There are both state and national parks in the area with cabins, RV sites and other camping options.  These links lead to alternatives.     http://www.floridastateparks.org/ or

http://www.floridacamping.com/campgrounds/results.php?&location=ca-gv&City_Area=Gainesville%20Area&pAnchorSort=Starke

For those who need a hotel/motel, Starke, FL is the nearest town to Camp Blanding.  This link will give you some assistance with hotels and motels. http://www.northfloridachamber.com/accommodations.php

Please note that everyone attending this year’s rally must sign a standard waiver and release upon entering Camp Blanding; Photo ID is required for initial access to Camp Blanding and registration name and ID name must match.

Camp Blanding is part of our nation's defense infrastructure. Should military hostilities occur prior to our Rally, Camp Blanding could be unavailable for our use and our rally would have to be cancelled. Pre-registration funds would be returned.
